TuksSport aims to develop high-performing, well-rounded student-athletes through world-class sport programmes that complement academic demands. The Sport Performance Support Bursary is awarded annually to talented athletes competing in one of the recognised sporting codes offered at the University of Pretoria.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply, you must:
- Be a full-time registered student accepted into a study course at the University of Pretoria
- Participate in and excel in one sporting code offered by TuksSport (no dual funding)
- Reapply annually – bursary is not guaranteed beyond the awarded year and is subject to review based on academic and sport performance
- Sign a written contract with the university upon successful award
- Not be required to study sport to apply for a sport bursary
Note:
- Incomplete or incorrect applications will be disqualified
- Cancellation of studies or failure to meet contractual obligations will result in the bursary being revoked and repayable
- If under 18, a legal guardian must sign the application form

Each application will be acknowledged within 3 weeks of submission. If not, it is your responsibility to follow up with the relevant TuksSport club directly.
